Carnegie Hub is made up of people. By focusing on the individual, we allow for each student to develop the skills they need to function effectively as social creatures.
Diversity brings us strength. With this in mind, we encourage our Hub community to broaden their experience of the world. Our code of conduct echoes this intention, focusing on respect for self, others and our environment.
Teachers are more than providers of information - they are guides, mentors and facilitators, who believe deeply in the abilities of the young people who they interact with. In order to provide the best quality education to our students, our teachers undertake regular training to stay up to date in their academic fields.
Students have a responsibility towards their own growth. They have an important role in shaping their learning environment and have input on how their environment works - from developing the code of conduct to identifying external learning and co-curricula experiences.
